Javier Santos Tafolla

Javier Santos Tafolla, 51, of Rigby, Idaho passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  Javier was born on July 21, 1969 to Heriberto Tafolla Sanchez and Priscilliana Bustos Carbrera in Pinzandaran, Michoacan, Mexico. He married Rose Mary Romero in Menan, Idaho on December 9, 1995. On July 11, 2009 they performed their marriage at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They made their home and raised their family in Rigby, Idaho.

Javier worked as a duct installer for Quality Heating and Air. He formerly worked at Rigby Produce, ran a food truck and removed asbestos in California. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

Javier enjoyed life. He loved to go fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, listening to music, cooking, and dancing. He was a hard worker. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his children.

He is survived by his wife, Rose M Tafolla of Rigby, Idaho. His children, Maria Magdalena (Ismyal Mora) Tafolla of Boise, Idaho, Javier Sebastian Tafolla of Rigby, Idaho and Jorge Heriberto Tafolla of Rigby, Idaho.  His parents, Heriberto Tafolla Sanchez and Priscilliana Bustos Cabrera of Michoacan, Mexico. Sister, Maria Felix Tafolla Loya of Michoacan, Mexico and Virginia Tafolla Lombrea of Michoacan, Mexico. Brothers, Victor Tafolla and Roberto Tafolla of Michoacan, Mexico. He has one grandchild, Nova Rose Tafolla.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 8, 2021 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (145 South 9 ^th Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho) at 11:00 AM. The family will meet with friends the evening before, Friday, May 7, 2021 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Eckersell Funeral Home (101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho).
