Jay Lamb

Jay Lamb, 78, formerly of Roberts, Idaho, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Jay was born on September 12, 1944 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Leora Lyon Lamb and Delbert Ross Lamb. After graduating high school, Jay later joined the Army and honorably served his Country. After coming home, he then earned he earned his Nuclear Safety Degree at VoTech in Idaho Falls, and was top of class. After the Army, Jay worked in Business Management and as a book keeper. He is preceded by his parents, Delbert and Leora Lamb; brother Karl Lamb; sisters Zelma Edelmayer and Faye Edelmayer; brothers-in-law James Edelmayer and Denny Garner; sister-in-law Susan Lamb; nephews Brent Edelmayer, and Blake Landon; and niece Anita Edelmayer. Jay is survived by his brothers Richard Lamb of Roberts ID, Rick (Billie Ann) Lamb of Roberts ID; sister Judy Garner of Idaho Falls ID; brother-in-law Bill Edelmayer of Idaho Falls ID; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Bear. A burial service for Jay will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Market Lake Roberts Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com
