Jeffry Glen Cox, 61, of Rigby, Idaho passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho, the son of Glen H Cox and Verdis Bloxham Cox. He was a graduate of Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho and attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho where he majored in music. He earned an Associates Degree from Eastern Idaho Technical College in Idaho Falls, Idaho. On March 31, 1989, Jeff married Tamara Haws in Jackson, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. With Tamara, he became what he liked most being a husband, father, and grandfather. He was proud of his children and grandchildren. He loved the time he spent with them. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Jeff worked as an operator for the Idaho National Laboratories. He enjoyed being outside, especially going hunting, fishing and camping and has always had a love for music. Jeff is survived by his wife, Tamara Cox of Rigby, Idaho. His children; Jennifer I. (Tyler) Smith of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Joshua G. (Erica) Cox of St. Anthony, Idaho, Brandon J. (Jenni) Eames of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Bryan R. Eames of Las Vegas, Nevada. His sister, Sandy (Wayne) Skelton of Irwin, Idaho. Brothers; Scott Cox of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Craig Cox of Pocatello, Idaho, Terry (Dorothy) Cox of Chubbuck, Idaho, and Cory (Kathy) Cox of Idaho Falls, Idaho. He had twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; Glen and Verdis Cox and a sister, Carla Neimier. Funeral services for Jeff will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the South Rigby Stake Center (106 North 3800 East, Rigby, Idaho). The family will meet with friends on Friday evening, February 16, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday prior to services from 9:30 to 10:45 AM both at the Stake Center.
