Jennafer Marilyn Monroe, passed away Thursday, September 07, 2006 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Jennafer was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho December 21, 1961 to David “Sandy” & Mickey Byington Monroe. She was the oldest of seven children. Jennafer attended schools in Ririe, Idaho and was very active in sports. She especially loved baseball and water volleyball where she was always trying to get everyone wet. Her hobbies include being outdoors particularly boating and camping with her family, cooking, writing poems, painting and drawing pictures. Jennafer loved spending time with her family. She was always eager to participate in family activities which included spending time with her children, dad, mom, brothers and sisters. Jennafer married Timothy Weekes and they had one son, TJ born February 27, 1982. They later divorced. She then married Dee Hayes and they had one daughter, Britanny born August 13, 1987. They also divorced. Her third gift from God Kegan came on March 8, 1994. Then finally she met the love of her life, Steve Spring. In joining her life with Steve, two additional children, Nick and Makayla were brought into her life to complete her family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jennafer was a very loving person and was consistently trying to uplift those around her. She was always looking for a way to help those around her by giving advice that involved real life experiences. She never forgot a birthday or special day and was there to help build memories. We are proud of her and the long road she has traveled. We will love and miss her dearly! Jennafer was preceded in death by two brothers, Jason Benjamin Monroe and another infant baby and her grandparents, Merrill and Bessie Byington and John Monroe and Opal Eddins Monroe. She is survived by her children, TJ, Britanny, and Kegan: granddaughter Lily; parents David “Sandy” and Mickey Monroe; siblings Wesley (Melanie) Monroe, Barbara (Terry) Winters, Kirt (Cheri) Monroe, and April (Steve) Perry; Significant other Steve Springs and step-children Nick and Makayla. Funeral services will be held Monday September 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ririe 2nd Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Steve Hickman officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, September 10, 2006 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and on Monday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at Ririe 2nd Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would like to request that donations be made to the Jennafer Monroe Memorial account at any Westmark Credit Union.
