Jerry Lynn Christensen

Jerry Lynn Christensen, 85, of Rigby, Idaho passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 in Rigby, Idaho. She was born June 15, 1935 in Rockmart, Georgia, the daughter of Oscar Lewis Adkinson and Elbia Irene Purser. She was raised in Macon, Georgia.

Jerry married Claude E. Christensen on April 18, 1954 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Some of the places Jerry worked was as a bookkeeper for Lions Candy in Pocatello, Idaho, Hughes Aircraft in Los Angeles, California, as a Deli Prep for Flying J Truck Stop in McCammon, Idaho.

Jerry enjoyed gardening, flowers and anything to do with plants.  She enjoyed canning and cooking treats. She loved her family and had unconditional love for everyone.

Jerry is survived by her son’s; Michael J. (Robert) Christensen – Frame of Pocatello, Idaho, Jeffrey S. (Paulette) Christensen of Pocatello, Idaho, Timothy L. (Rhonda) Christensen of Rigby, Idaho and Kevin L. (Nancy) Christensen of Rigby, Idaho.  A sister, Annie Zimbardi of Las Vegas, Nevada. Seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.

Services for Jerry will be planned for a later date.
