Jesse James Hiatt, 22 of Idaho Falls, passed away after a brief illness, Monday, December 19, 2016 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. He was surrounded by his family and close friends.
Jesse was born March 21, 1994 in Idaho Falls to Thane D Hiatt and Tawna Jean Taylor Hiatt. He attended Bonneville High School, and Taylor’s Crossing Public Charter School in Idaho Falls, graduating in 2012. He continued his education at WyoTech in Laramie, Wyoming, earning a Degree as a Diesel Mechanic.
Jesse enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowboarding, playing baseball and spending time with family and friends. Jesse was very generous with everything including his time. He always knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face and made sure that he made their day better.
He is survived by his Fiancé, Tayler Browning, of Idaho Falls, parents Thane D and Tawna Jean Hiatt, of Idaho Falls, sister, Amanda Kae Hiatt, of St. Anthony, brother, Konnor Daniel Hiatt of St. Anthony, grandmothers, Ruth Hiatt of Rigby and Donna Jean Taylor of Idaho Falls.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua James Hiatt, grandfathers, Willard Carpenter Taylor and Dale Lee Hiatt and uncle, James Scott Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services, both at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
