James Edward Wilson, age 77, died Saturday June 26, 2010 at his home in Spencer. James was born January 17, 1933 at Dubois, Idaho a son of Edward James and Junda Pollock Wilson. He attended schools in Dubois graduating from Dubois High School. He also attended ITEC in Idaho Falls. He served in the United States Army in Korea. He married Mary Clea Young April 30, 1954 in Buhl, Idaho. She preceded him in death April 9, 2003. He then married Patricia Kay Simmons September 18, 2005 at Spencer. He worked throughout his life as a Heavy Equipment Operator for construction and mining. He operated Lidy Hot Springs for several years and the Wilson Motel in Dubois. He was a member of the V.F.W. Mud Lake Chapter and the Idaho Falls Elks Lodge. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife Patricia Wilson of Spencer, one daughter Mary Ann Wilson of Idaho Falls, three sons Edward James Wilson of St. Anthony, John Allen Wilson of Idaho Falls, Robert Lee (Trina) Wilson of St. Anthony, Three brothers Charles E. (Karen) Wilson of Dubois, Joseph Edward Wilson of Idaho Falls, John Raymond (Dottie) Wilson of Ririe, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary an infant son and 2 infant brothers. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Dubois Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. Burial will follow services at the Dubois Cemetery.
