Joann Anderson

JoAnn Anderson, age 72, of Idaho Falls died at Good Samaritan Care Center in Idaho Falls, Monday, May 07, 2007. JoAnn was born July 6, 1934, at Rigby, a daughter of Wallace Williams and Ora Jenkins Williams. JoAnn was raised and attended schools in the Rigby area graduating from Rigby High School. She married Bill J. Anderson, October 30, 1953. She Worked in Idaho Falls for Mountain Bell Telephone Company as an operator, and as a waitress for the Hawaiian Restaurant. JoAnn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she enjoyed bowling, playing pinochle, cribbage and putting puzzles together, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their ball games. She is survived by her husband, Bill J. Anderson, of Idaho Falls, three daughters, Christine Anderson of Melrose, Montana, Holly (Steve) Killian of Idaho Falls, Wendy Jo (Jack) Wood of Surprise, Arizona, two sons, Thomas W. Anderson, and Troy B. Anderson, both of Idaho Falls, a sister, Delpha (Gaylen) Mitchell, of Rigby and a brother, Lloyd (Faye) Heyrend of Idaho Falls, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son Roger Dale. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 10, 2007, at 1:00 p.m., at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
