Jody Lynn Brown, 36, of Logan, Utah, died Sunday, August 8, 2004, near Ashton. Jody was born December 14, 1967 at Logan, Utah a son of Edward Lynn Brown Jr. and Valoy “Val” Loveday Brown. He attended Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls where he participated with the Rodeo Club, bull riding and Auto Tech Club. He attended Arizona Automotive Institute for 4 years. He worked for Fisher Logging in Ashton for 2 years, Rocky Mountain Toyota in Idaho Falls for 3 years and with ABC Construction in Plymouth, Utah in shutdown for Nucor Steel for the last 15 years. Jody enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors, was a very talented artist, was friendly to everyone and was big hearted. He is survived by his mother Valoy “Val” Brown of Ammon, Idaho, his father Eddie Brown of Logan, Utah, 2 sisters Teresa L. Brown of Ammon, Lisa A. (Carl) Jaqrdine of Idaho Falls, 1 brother Jason A. (Heather) Brown of Clarkston, Utah, nieces and nephews Kody Gaddo and Alaura Brown of Ammon and Riley Woodhouse of Idaho Falls, grandmothers Annabelle Loveday and Maureene Brown of Logan, Utah and an uncle Devon Loveday of Layton, Utah. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Chauncey I. Loveday and Edward L. Brown Sr. a great grandmother Grace Montague and an Aunt Janet Loveday Daniels. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14, at 12:00 noon at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday for one hour prior to services at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
