John Lee Feranchek Jr., 61, of Rigby, Idaho died Friday, March 17, 2006 at the hospital in Idaho Falls.
John was born April 25, 1944 in Miami, Oklahoma the son of John Lee Feranchek Sr. and Geneva Genell Perkins Feranchek. He was raised in Fairfield, California and attended schools at Armijo High School, Solano Community College and Napa Junior College.
He also worked for Travis Air Force Base, Concord Naval Weapons Station and Mare Island Naval Facility before retiring from Civil Service after 25 years. He was self employed doing background checks for Bonneville, Jefferson, Madison and Fremont Counties.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He enjoyed working outdoors.
John is survived by a sister, Geneva Jolene (Phil) Rainville of Fairfield, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 20, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Clark Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop John Roberts officiating. The family will meet with friends Sunday, March 19, 2006 at the Clark Ward Chapel from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment will be in the Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery in Fairfield, California.
