John William Wells

Our loving dad, grandpa, and brother, John William Wells 62 of Roberts, ID passed away Tuesday November 29th, 2016 at EIRMC of natural causes. John was born June 30th, 1954 in Idaho Falls, ID to Marden and Dorothy Berrett Wells. He attended schools in Roberts and Midway. He worked most of his life at the family farm with his dad, and later at Robison Farms. In 1974 John had a son Michael, with Joann Johnson. He married Nadine Simpson on March 13, 1975 and they had 8 children. Patrick, Kimberly, Rebecca, Dustin, Kade, Scott, Wyatt, and Stephen. They later divorced. John is survived by his sons Michael (Anette) Davis of Star Valley, WY, Dustin Wells of Idaho Falls, ID, Kade (Amanda) Wells of Rigby, ID, Scott (Jessy) Wells of Rigby, ID, Stephen Wells of Idaho Falls, ID. His daughters Kimberly (Corey) Poole of Menan, ID, and Becca (Russ) Grow of Meridan, ID. His brothers, Charles (Marie) Wells of Roberts, ID, Wayne Wells of Idaho Falls, ID, Stephen E.(Jane) Wells of Washington D.C, Phillip (Bonnie) Wells of Idaho Falls, ID, David Wells of Idaho Falls, ID. His sisters Susan (Wayne) Allen of Idaho Falls, ID, Sally (Loren) Lounsbury of Roberts, ID, and Ruth (Delance) Blackburn of Trenton, MO; 25 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his sons, Patrick Wells and Wyatt Wells. His parents Marden E. Wells and Dorothy Berrett Wells, and his brother James Wells. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Roberts LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7pm Thursday, evening, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services, both at the church.
