Jordan Matthew Siepert, age 14, of Salem, Idaho died at his home Friday May 19, 2006. Jordan was born July 24, 1991 at Rexburg, Idaho a son of Joseph Clifford Siepert and Janet Jean Ballard Siepert. He was raised in the Salem area attending Central Elementary, Kershaw Intermediate and Sugar Salem Jr. High and High School. Jordan participated on the Soccer Team, Pep band, Jazz band, Concert Band, Ballroom Dance and Drama. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held the office of Teacher. He was active in scouting receiving his Arrow of Light and was currently working on his Eagle Project. He raised and sold Shih Tzu puppies. He enjoyed skiing, swimming, softball, racquetball, tennis, riding motorcycles and four wheelers, reading, video games, movies, animals, loved music, his family, camping and the outdoors.
Survivors include: his parents Joseph and Janet Siepert of Salem, Idaho, one sister Nicole (Dilip) Shrestha of Laie, Hawaii, three brothers: Jared Siepert of Boise, Idaho, Chris (Jill) Siepert of Boise, Idaho, Josh Siepert serving in the Zurich Switzerland L.D.S. Mission, grandparents: LaDonna Logan of Orem, Utah, Jack Ballard of Filer, Idaho and Leah Siepert of Rexburg, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by one grandmother Carma Hunter Siepert, and two grandfathers Keith Siepert and Jesse R. Logan.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sugar City Stake Center with Bishop Bart Lynn of the Salem 3rd Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends at the Sugar City Stake Center on Wednesday, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
