Joseph T Anderson, 32, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Joseph was born August 1, 1986 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Roger Wayne Anderson and Cheryl Ann Mitchell Kempfer. He was raised and attended schools in Ucon and Bonneville High School. He worked for Rogue Construction and Ace Hardware in Ammon.
Joseph enjoyed fishing, playing soccer, and was a fan of the Tennessee Titans. His greatest passion was helping others along their road to recovery and was a Drug Court Mentor for District 7 Health Department, and he was also deeply involved in AA. Joseph was an inspirational speaker and a devoted friend and family member. He was loved by all those he associated with, and had a talent for making others laugh, and find joy in life.
He is survived by his father, Roger (Teresa) Anderson of Ririe; brothers, Joshua (Katie) Anderson of Rigby, Jared (Rebecca) Anderson of Ucon, Judd (Leah) Fisher of Chino Hills, California; sisters, Brittany (Cody) Bond of Rigby, Keisha (Mark Butikofer) Fisher of Idaho Falls; grandparents, Jody Anderson of Ammon, and Tom (Carol) Mitchell of Idaho Falls.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Ann Kempfer, grandmother, Nadine Chambers, grandfather, Ted Anderson, and uncle, Tommy Mitchell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Perry Ward Chapel, 285 2 nd West, Ririe, with Bishop Paul Martin conducting. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services Thursday, at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby.
