Joshua Joseph Denning, 29, of Shelley, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 in Idaho Falls.
Joshua was born October 8, 1979, in Bountiful, Utah a son of Joseph Boyce Denning and Stephanie Hughes Denning. He attended school in West Bountiful and Kaysville, Utah and graduated from Davis High School. He attended Idaho State University. Joshua worked at Mountain View Hospital where he was a certified phlebotomist and a lab technician. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission in the Little Rock, Arkansas L.D.S. Mission. He married KayCee Pond on September 29, 2001, in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. He loved his family especially his wife and daughter and also enjoyed cooking, playing the guitar, composing music, and singing, and was an avid Reef Aquarium hobbyist.
Joshua is survived by his wife KayCee Pond Denning, daughter PresLee Kate Denning, both of Shelley, Parents, Joseph and Stephanie Denning of Bountiful, Utah, sister, Ashley Ann Denning of Bountiful, Utah, brothers, Cory H. Denning of Bountiful, Utah, Zachary W. (Sara) Denning of Murrieta California; as well as his in-laws, Dana and Jonette Pond, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Woodville 2nd Ward L.D.S. Chapel, 1555 N. 700 E., Shelley, at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Clint Wheeler officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 W. Main St., Rigby and prior to the service at the church from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Joshua Joseph Denning Memorial Fund at any Key Bank branch.
