Joshua Levi Thorngren

Joshua Levi Thorngren, age 24, of Idaho Falls, passed away at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Sunday August 23, 2015. He was born May 29, 1991 in Rexburg, Idaho a son of William Levi and Maria Louise Landon Thorngren. Joshua was raised in Rigby, Salmon, Osgood and Ririe attending school in Ririe and Salmon. He worked for HK Road Construction as an Equipment Operator. He enjoyed family, music, friends, jokes, Mario Carts, Dragon Ball Z, and cookies and Milk. He had a big heart and cared for everyone. He was a super hero to his nieces and Nephews. He is survived by his parents; sisters: Heather Wheeler, of Ririe, McKenzie Loftus of Idaho Falls, Jessica (Matthew) Fisher of Ririe, Chrissy Carlsen of Idaho Falls and Candice Simon of Idaho Falls; brothers: John Anderson of Victor, Quint Wheeler of Ririe, Cody Meyer of Vandyne, Wisconsin and Shawn Thorngren of Idaho Falls; grandmother Verna Thorngren of Annis and grandparents Larry (Jennie) Landon of Salmon. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Lamont Thorngren. Funeral services will be held Friday August 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will visit with friends at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
