Joyce Crystal

Joyce Crystal, 80, of Idaho Falls, Idaho passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in Idaho Falls.

Joyce was born November 22, 1944 in Rigby, Idaho, the daughter of Golden Rex Crystal and Ona Parrish Crystal. She attended her schooling in Rigby as well.

Joyce helped on the family farm, worked at the Country Club Golf Course, Willow Creek Vet Clinic, and then retired from Cal Ranch in the animal health section and also book keeping for family business.

Joyce was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed camping, cattle drives form Island park to Grant, Crystal brothers rodeos, gold mining, panning and loved to visit greys lake and caribou city.

Joyce is survived by her son Thane (Kathlene Garner) Ottley of Idaho Falls, ID, sisters Debbie (Mike) Spencer of Ucon, ID, and Roxie (Andrew) Leigh of Council, ID. She has 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Joyce is preceded by her parents and brothers Keith Crystal and Kent Crystal.

A memorial service will be held for Joyce on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Woodville Church (1555 North 700 East Shelly ID, 83274).

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the cancer research to St. Jude’s for children or a society of your choice.
