Joyce Mildred Richins

On Thursday, February 28, 2013, our beautiful and loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great grandmother, Joyce Jensen Richins, age 78, returned to her Heavenly Father with her family at her side. Joyce was born December 9 1934, in Terreton, Idaho to Rosco Drowns and Elsa Rhar. She had two brothers, Jim and Harold and two sisters, Blanc and Elsie. Joyce grew up in the Lorenzo & Terreton areas. She married Alvin Doyle Jensen on February 25, 1957 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Here they had one son and three daughters. Alvin was killed in a car accident 9 years later leaving Joyce to raise this young family on her own. Joyce then married Jack Richins on December 28, 1966, and one more daughter was born. Her greatest love was her family, she enjoyed the times when everyone could get together especially around the holidays. Joyce is survived by her daughters Pamela Allen, Sandy Zundel, Darla Grebb and Tammy Goody, her sister, Elsie, 21 grand children and 39 great grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and one sister, her first husband Alvin and a son Steve. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 11:00am at Eckersell Funeral Home located at 101 West Main, Rigby, Idaho. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30pm at the same location. Family and friends will meet at 9:30 am prior to the funeral. Interment will be at the Ucon cemetery immediately following the services.
