Joyce Roberts

Eldora Joyce Roberts, 76, of Menan, died Monday, June 07, 2010, at her home. Joyce was born December 11, 1933, in Afton, Wyoming, a daughter of Herbert Durward Lee and Hannah Marie Bassett Lee. She attended school in Afton until the eighth grade. She married Griffith VanNoy Roberts on August 11, 1948 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked in the lunch room at Midway Elementary. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and quilting of which she spent a lot of time teaching her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Joyce loved her family and especially loved spending time with them while camping, fishing, and family reunions. Joyce is survived by her daughters Terry (Brady) White, Vicky (Jose) Leal, Betty (Don) Berg, Edna M. Hubener, Tracie (Clint) Reagle, sons Griff Roberts, George (Char) Roberts, David (Diane) Roberts, Larry (Kathi) Roberts, brother James (Ann) Lee, 42 grandchildren, 69 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband Griff, and 2 daughters, Peggy Austin, Diane Chavez Collier, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Menan 2nd Ward L.D.S. Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Vance Nelson conducting. The family will visit with friends on Saturday morning prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
