Joyce E. Scott

Joyce Ernestine Brandjord Scott, 77, of Ririe, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg. She was born January 8, 1932, in Lignite, North Dakota, to John Iver Brandjord and Marie Nelson Brandjord. She was raised and attended schools in North Dakota and Great Falls, Montana, she also lived in Oregon and Idaho. During 1955, she married Irvin Carpenter Scott in Fort Benton, Montana, they later divorced. Later in life she married Denis Fuller, who took wonderful care of her in her later years. Joyce was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she loved flowers, gardening, cooking and baking. She is survived by a son; Larry (Lorna) Scott, of Rigby, 3 daughters; Diane (Bob) Reed, of Rigby, Lila (Walt) Wilkins, of Winnemucca, Nevada, Bonnie Scott, of Idaho Falls, 2 sisters; Isabelle Stevonek, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, Louise Vanselfden, of Portland, Oregon, 2 brothers; Merrill Brandjord, of Spokane, Washington, Irvin D. Brandjord, of Fairfield, Montana, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband, Irvin Scott, husband, Denis Fuller, and a son; David W. Scott. A private family memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the Ririe 2nd Ward Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 12:45 p.m., Saturday, prior to services at the church.
