Joyce Elaine Witt

Joyce Elaine Witt, age 71, of Menan, died Friday, November 18, 2005, at Good Samaritan Care Center in Idaho Falls. Joyce was born May 30, 1934 at Palmer, Nebraska a daughter of Henry Taylor Witt and Ollie Dodd Witt. She attended schools in Fullerton, Nebraska until the 5th grade and then moved to Clark, Idaho in 1945. She graduated from Rigby High School. She attended Idaho State University in Pocatello earning her Masters Degree in Education. She taught school in the State of Washington until her retirement in June of 1984. She moved to Menan and lived their until February 1, 2003 when she moved to Lincoln Court in Idaho Falls. She loved to read, play cards, embroidery, watching sports, go fishing, travel and was a loving and caring person. She is survived by 1 sister Roberta Large of Castle Rock, Washington and 1 brother Barry Granden of Warshaw, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepmother Lucille Witt. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 25, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
