Juan Carlos Estrada

Juan Carlos Estrada, 38, of Rigby, Idaho passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 in Ashton, Idaho. Juan was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on May 7, 1985, the son of Adulfa Murillo.

Juan attended schools in Rigby, Idaho and was employed at Merrill Woodworking as a painter. He was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed attending weekly services.

Juan was a hard worker, and loved working with his hands. He enjoyed building cabinetry, playing guitar, mechanic work and fishing. He loved playing with his kids and nephews, dancing, and to garden.

Juan is survived by his wife, Maria Consuelo Napoles Garcia. They married in Idaho Falls, Idaho on March 19, 2021. He is also survived by his children, Aylin Guadalupe Estrada of Rigby, Idaho, Step daughter, Giselle Diaz of Rigby, Idaho, Jaaziel Juan Estrada of Shelley, Idaho, Juan Cristo Estrada of Rigby, Idaho, and step son, Ernesto Diaz of Rigby, Idaho. His mother, Adulfa Murillo of Rigby, Idaho, and a brother, Juaquin (Veronica) Estrada of Ashton, Idaho.  He was preceded in death by his brother Jesus Alberto Murillo.

A Rosary is planned for Friday, September 8, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 W Main St Rigby ID 83442), with a viewing following until 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held for Juan at St. Patrick’s Catholic Mission at 10:00 a.m. (45 S 3rd W Rexburg ID 83440). Interment will be at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
