Judie Dawn Renteria

Judie Dawn Renteria, 61, of Rigby, died at her home Sunday, January 28, 2007. Judie was born May 10, 1945 at Idaho Falls, Idaho a daughter to Robert Lewis Oakden and Gretta Leone Boulter Oakden. She attended schools in Idaho Falls and Rexburg. She married Marlen Andersen February 3, 1965. They later divorced. She married Elpidio Renteria March 7, 1987 at Rigby, Idaho. She moved to the city of Orange, Califronia in 1963. She then moved to Norristown, Pennsylvania in 1967. She moved back to Rigby in 1972 where she lived the rest of her life. She was a member of the LDS Church. She was a truly wonderful and giving person that enjoyed reading, playing games, sending cards to everyone she knew on important dates, spending time with her family especially her grandkids who were the light of her life and we will forever remember her as “Grandma Judie” who will be missed by everyone that new her. She is survived by her husband, Elpidio Renteria of Rigby, three daughters: Wende (Todd) Covington of Rigby, Marcie (Chris) Johnson of Rexburg, and Jamie (Dan) Heilmann of Rexburg, one son Waylen Andersen of Rigby, five sisters: Marge Moedl of Rigby, Linda (Greg) Moore of Achlee, Minnesota, C.C. (Hans) Arnston of Circle, Montana, Gloria (D.J.) Mills of Rigby, and Robyn Oakden of Idaho Falls, three brothers: Bobby (Julie) Oakden of Oregon, Gary (Dixie) Oakden of Arizona, David (Lynn) Oakden of Chugiak, Alaska, and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a half brother. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 2, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and again on Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
