Julia Marcene Weeks Stoltenberg, age 82, of Rigby, died at Rexburg Nursing and Rehab Saturday, January 26, 2013.
She was born August 21, 1930 at Irwin, Idaho a daughter to James Hyrum Weeks and Dora Ellen Clark. She attended Ririe Schools graduating from Ririe High School. She then attended the Chicago School of Nursing graduating in 1951. She worked as an LPN in the Marcus Daily Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, Montana and in various nursing homes and hospitals around South East Idaho.
She married Eugene Clair Stoltenberg in Idaho Falls, January 10th 1949. As a member of the LDS Church she served as Relief Society President in the Clark Ward. She enjoyed baking bread, picking huckleberries, needlepoint, embroidery, and puzzles and going on drives in the country.
Survivors include her children: Julie (Kay) Lott of Rigby, Eldon (Larene) Stoltenberg of Idaho Falls, Chris (Sandy) Stoltenberg of Douglas, Wyoming, Rod (Tambra) Stoltenberg of Rigby, Al (Lori) Stoltenberg of Vista, California, Ron (Rachael) Stoltenberg of Lander, Wyoming, Jon (Penny) Stoltenberg of Rigby, Ted (Dana) Stoltenberg of Douglas, Wyoming, a sister JoEtta Rose (Alvin) Patterson of Murray, Utah, a brother Jerry (Judy) Weeks of Portland, Oregon, 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
