Evelyn “Julie” Walters White, 38, of Menan, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at her home.
She was born July 25, 1972, in Hollywood, Florida, to Miguel A. Castro and Pamela Sue Land Castro. She was raised and attended schools in Pocatello and Graduated from Idaho Falls, High School. She continued her education at Eastern Idaho Technical College, receiving her Associates Degree in Accounting and the University of Phoenix. On December 26, 2007, she married Larry Allen White in Menan. She worked for Piece Goods in Idaho Falls for 10 years.
She loved to knit, crochet, sew, and making crafts. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and biking. She was a pet lover and a fan of Mickey Mouse. Julie was a loyal friend; she loved her family and had a special bond with her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her husband, Larry White, parents, Pamela Sue (Albert) Sikes, Miguel Castro, sisters, Franci Turner, Michele (Travis) Johnson, Step-sisters, Teresa (David) Anderson, Tina (Dane) Nelson, brothers, Rick Turner, twin brother, Michael (Torie) Castro, Anthony Castro, grandmother, Maxine Jakin, and her foster family, Joy, Darlene Smith, and Misty and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a niece, Krisy Webb, Grandparents, Carmen and Petro Castro and an Uncle, Al.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2010, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday evening and for one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
