June Marolyn Pettichord, 84, of Rexburg, Idaho passed away Monday, November 23, 2020. June was born June 22, 1936 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the daughter of William H. Collins and Florence Kofed Nielsen the oldest of the twins by about 15 minutes. Her twin was Joane.
June was raised in San Francisco, CA until her marriage to Cliff Harper and then moved to Sacramento CA. She had two children, Michael who died in an auto bike accident at the age of 7, and Mark who lives in Rigby, ID. Both have been sealed to her and David. She Raised Cliffs daughter Terry from his first marriage.
June graduated in 1980 from Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho as a Registered Nurse. She was licensed in Idaho, Utah and California. She married David Lawrence Pettichord in Carson City, Nevada on May 31, 1975. They marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles Temple.
June was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the temple and enjoyed genealogy. She had opportunity to serve in almost every calling in the church. She served in the Rexburg Temple with her husband. She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and sang in every choir she could.
June is survived by her husband David L. Pettichord of Rexburg, Idaho. Children, Terry (Noah) Walker of Sacramento, CA and Mark (Bridgette) Pettichord of Rigby, Idaho. She has eight grandchildren and five from Kathy who live in Fullerton, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin Jonne, her older sister Elaine son, Michael two twin brothers Jimmy and Johnny and a younger sister Sharon.
A graveside service will be held in her honor Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Cache-Clawson Cemetery in Tetonia, Idaho.
