Justin Todd Drake

Justin Todd Drake, 41 of Lorenzo, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at his home.

Justin was born July 1, 1977 in Rexburg, Idaho to Thayne Harold Drake and Doris Lee Blosch Drake. He was raised and attended schools in Rigby, graduating from Rigby High School. During high school, he was active in FFA, Auto Tech, and 4-H. On July 24, 2015, he married Alanna Dawn Fransen in Mesa Falls, Idaho. Justin enjoyed farming and worked for Valley Agronomics and farmed with Boyd Smith.

Justin was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; He enjoyed the scouting program and was an Eagle Scout. Justin enjoyed feeding the fish at Warm River, working in his yard and cutting firewood. He adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Justin is survived by his wife, Alanna Dawn Drake of Lorenzo; daughter, Samantha Dawn Mathie of Pocatello; son, Austin Roy Myers of Lorenzo; parents', Doris Lee Blosch Drake and Thayne Harold Drake of Lorenzo; sisters, Suzann Mae Drake, of Rigby, Marsha Ellen Carlson, of Archer; brother, Jonathan Harold Drake of Idaho Falls, and three grandchildren, Kelton, Preslie, and Grayson.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Ellen Drake, Joy and Harold Drake, Dottie Drake and Dea Blosch.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rigby 4 ^th Ward LDS Chapel (Red Brick Church) 401 W. 1 ^st South, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
