Karen Ann Mullins

Karen Ann Bowen Mullins, 64, of Idaho Falls, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012, at the Rexburg Care and Rehab Center. She was born February 7, 1948, in Idaho Falls, to Bernal R. Bowen and Alice Garrett Bowen. She was raised and attended schools in Idaho Falls graduating from Idaho Falls High School. She continued her education at Eastern Idaho Technical College in Idaho Falls. She worked at White Star Laundry for several years, then at the INL, retiring after 20 years. Karen enjoyed riding horses and outdoor activities, making jewelry, crocheting, beadwork and tole painting. She treasured the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her sisters; Berniece (Larry) Andrus, of Iona, Donna (Lawrence) Lenz, of Idaho Falls, and 18 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and 2 brothers. Memorial graveside services will be held at Rigby Pioneer Cemetery Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
