Karsen Margo Lewis

Margo Lewis, 77 of Victor passed away at Sage Grove Memory Care in Rigby, Idaho, Sunday, March 9, 2025.

Margo was born in Victor, Idaho, May 25, 1947, a daughter to David and Lydia Schiers.  She was the youngest of 14 children.

She married DeVar Lewis June 14, 1963, in Victor, Idaho. She lived in her childhood home all her life except for 11 years.

She worked many jobs, including waitressing at the Timberline, cleaning rooms in Jackson, and taking care of her family.

She had many hobbies; bowling, golfing, crocheting, and reading.  She loved working in her yard and visiting with many friends and family. She also loved volunteering at the museum and family history center.

Margo is survived by a stepdaughter Latrica Williams (Samuel Jr.) of Monteview, Idaho. Five grandchildren, Dusty (Lacey) Williams, of Carlsbad New Mexico, Broch (Kayla) Williams of Sunnydell, Idaho, Lisa Weeks (Boe) of Preston, Idaho, Brian (Keeley) Williams of Roundup, Montana, and Sabrina Roundy (Isaac) of Ririe, Idaho. 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews.

Margo is preceded in death by her children: Lynda and Danny Lewis, her husband DeVar Lewis, her parents and 13 brothers and sisters.

There will be a viewing on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 6:00-7:30 pm at Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho 83442. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Victor Cemetery.
