Kathleen Anderson

Kathleen Anderson, 75, of Rigby, Idaho passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022. She was born November 18, 1946 in Teton, Idaho, the daughter of Vance John Ricks and Ardell Huskinson Ricks.

Kathleen graduated from Idaho Falls High School and continued her education at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho, earning an associate’s degree in Medical Technology.

On October 18, 1974 Kathleen married Jim Doyle Anderson in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kathleen enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with her husband Jimmy.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Jimmy D. Anderson of Rigby, Idaho.  They were blessed by five sons; Larry, Cody, Dev, Steve and JJ. Two sisters; Julie Brokaw and Christy (Wayne) Hyde. Brothers; Jerry (Sherry) Ricks, Wendell Ricks and Kent (Connie) Ricks. 5 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vance and Ardell Ricks.

A graveside service will be held in her honor on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Sutton Cemetery (841 Sutton Cemetery Road, Rexburg, ID  83440).  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com.
