Katrina Ann Wall Rojas

Katrina Ann Wall Rojas, 33, passed away in her home in Grant, Idaho, on December 15, 2021.

Katrina was born May 1, 1988, in Rexburg, Idaho, to James Timothy Wall and Leesa Ilean Poulson Wall.

Katrina graduated from Rigby High School in 2006 and attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah, for one semester. She worked at a local Salt Lake City theater while attending college and later worked at Dillards, Kohls, and Transitions Developmental Therapy Center in Idaho Falls and Prepared Pantry in Rigby. She worked as a nanny in Switzerland before returning to Idaho, where she lived the rest of her life. She was working from home for Deca Solar prior to her death. On October 12, 2013, she married Alvaro Enrique Rojas. She was divorced in November, 2021.

Katrina's greatest joy was rearing and teaching her son, Marshall. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved serving in the Primary. She also served as a homemaking specialist and choir accompanist. She participated as a soprano in ward choirs. She had just accepted a calling to serve again in the Primary before her death. She loved to read, sing, and play the piano and the violin. Despite her failing health, she loved taking walks with her son whenever she was able.

Katrina is survived by her parents, Tim and Leesa Wall of Grant; her ex-husband, Alvaro Rojas of Idaho Falls; her son, Marshall Rojas; her brothers, Matthew (Rebecca) Wall of Ammon and Caleb (Ashley) Wall of Nampa; and by her sisters, Maria Wall of Grant; Kirsten (Brent) Slama of Greenfield, California; Ariana (Spencer) Uminski of Rigby, Idaho; and Savannah (Daniel) Hannon of Draper, Utah.

Katrina's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, at the Grant 2nd Ward Chapel.  The family will visit with friends on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.  The interment will be in the Grant Central Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby.
