Keith W. Hadley, 85, of Ammon, died Friday, June 18, 2010, at the Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. He was born May 20, 1925, in Rigby, to George W. Hadley, and Grace May Bush Hadley. He was raised and attended schools in Rigby. On November 13, 1943, he married Marcene Gneiting in Rigby. He enlisted in the US Navy November 16, 1943 and served in the South Pacific during WWII, he was honorably discharged January 19, 1946. He worked in construction, operated V-1 Oil Service Station in Rigby, and was a Plant Operator with the Bureau of Reclamation. He retired in 1980 as Chief of the Palisades Project after 30 years. He was a member of Swan Valley American Legion Post #97, enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Marcene Hadley, of Ammon, daughter, Jean Ann (Bob) Christiansen, of Idaho Falls, son, Dennis Keith (Bonita) Hadley, of Iona, sisters, Mavis (Wayne) Smith, of Dubois, Dona Dolph, of Payson, UT, Jacque Lee, of Gilbert, AZ, 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 3 great great –grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Orville Hadley, a grandson, Jim Christiansen, two brothers-in-law, Jim Lee and Jack Dolph. Funeral services will be held AT 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday evening and for one hour prior to services, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
