Kendall Dean Woods, 25, of Rigby, Idaho died Friday, August 20, 2004 in an automobile accident.
Kendall was born on February 28, 1979, a son of Wesley Dean Woods and Suzanne Powell Woods. Kendall was raised in Rigby attending school there and graduating from Rigby High School. While attending high school he played football and baseball. He graduated from Seminary and earned his Eagle Scout Award. Kendall attended Idaho State University. He worked for Top Plate in construction as a framer. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Kendall was a priest in the aaronic priesthood. He had served in numerous youth leadership positions. Kendall loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, sports, snow boarding, long boarding, riding 4 wheelers, and being with friends and family.
Survivors include his parents Wesley and Suzanne Woods of Rigby, one sister Sheena Lynn Woods of Rigby, two brothers Wesley Brandon Woods of Logan, Utah and Eric Virgil Woods of Rigby, Idaho, grandparents Dean and Faye Woods of Menan, Idaho and Virgil and Merlyn Powell of Rigby, Idaho
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rigby Stake Center with Bishop Mike Maloney officiating. The family will meet with friends on Monday night at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday prior to the services at the Stake Center from 11:30 a.m.- 12:45 p.m. Burial will follow the services at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
