Kerry P. Pearson, 37, of Rigby, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012. He was born on May 5, 1975 in Long Beach California to Carl Allen Pearson and Patricia Ann Faulconer Pearson. He was raised and attended schools in Garden Grove California, graduating from Pacifica High School. He continued his education at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California and was currently attending ISU. After the death of his father, Carl, Kerry and his family moved to Idaho to be with his mother, Patricia. He received his certificate in photography, and was a Plumber and Pipefitter with the Local #648 Union. He worked for R.M.C, Y.M.C, and the I.N.L. He met his wife Heather Yax in 2000; they fell in love and married in September of 2001. They had two wonderful children, Elizabeth and Lillian Pearson whom he adored. He was a happy, thoughtful and bright young man who was a part of Boy Scouts and had a love of fishing, camping, and photography. He was an avid hockey fan for the Kings, and played guitar beautifully for over 25 years. He was loving, loyal and the most amazing man anyone was fortunate enough to have in their life. He will be greatly missed, almost as much as he was loved. Kerry was a fighter; he fought Crohn's Disease for over 16 years, he is pain free now and at rest. He is survived by his wife, Heather Pearson, daughters, Elizabeth Ann and Lillian Rose Pearson, mother, Patricia Pearson, brother, Kelly Land, all of Rigby. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, Carl Pearson and brothers, Kevin Land and Keith Pearson. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 14, 2012 at the 1st Evangelical Lutheran Church, 455 W. Sunnyside Road, Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at the church.
