Kerry Lee Rowbury, 53 of Rigby, Idaho, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at his home.
Kerry was born May 8, 1968 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Burdell Dee Rowbury and Betty Ann McManigal Rowbury. He graduated from Madison High School in Rexburg, Idaho. Throughout his life, he lived in Rexburg, Teton, and Rigby, Idaho. He married Angie Peterson Phillips; they later divorced.
Kerry was a self-employed truck driver and an experienced welder. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved the outdoors; cross country snow machine racing, hunting, fishing, camping, riding his side-by-side, riding horses and dirt bikes, shooting guns and reloading bullets; above all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Kara Rowbury of Rexburg, Idaho; son, Housten (Becky) Rowbury of Idaho Falls, Idaho; daughter Tessa Rowbury of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his mother, Betty Rowbury of Rigby, Idaho; brother, Nick Rowbury of Idaho Falls, Idaho; sisters, Brenda Patterson of Rexburg, Idaho Toni (Todd) Fisher of Rexburg, Idaho, and 4 grandchildren.
Kerry was preceded in death by his father, Dee Rowbury and his grandparents Evelyn and Deloy Rowbury and grandmother, Agnes McManigal.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Rexburg Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Friday at Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho.
