Kevin W Davis, age 63 of Ammon, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Kevin was born January 25, 1953, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to George M. Davis and Betty Dayton Rounds Davis. He was raised and attended school in Idaho Falls, graduating from Skyline High School. On June 21, 1978, he married Cynthia Ann Martin in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple; they were blessed with 4 children.
Kevin was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to owning and operating Davis Upholstery in Idaho Falls, he was a supervisor with the Bonneville County Jail work detail. Kevin loved his family, and was especially fond of his grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Davis, of Ammon; daughter, Katie Livemont, of Idaho Falls; sons, Cory (Cress) Davis, of Stockton, California, Chris (Tawnya) Davis, of Idaho Falls, Nathan Davis of Idaho Falls; sister, Jolene Jardine of Idaho Falls; brothers, Dennis (Anita) Davis, of Centerville, Utah; Kelly (Susan) Davis, of Idaho Falls; and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Betty Davis; and sister, Lori Schaugaard.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Ammon 4th Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Eric Bodily conducting. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services, both at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon City Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
