Kim Andersen

Kim Andersen, 52, of Rigby, died Friday, March 6, 2009, at Madison Memorial Hospital. He was born June 20, 1956, in Rigby, to Milton Waters Anderson and Mary Ardell Hunsaker Andersen. He attended schools in Rigby and Texas. Kim plastered pools in various states for work, including Maine, New Hampshire, Texas, New Jersey, and California. He enjoyed rock crawling in his truck, fishing, hunting and he loved to restore old cars. He is survived by the love of his life, Kathryn McCann, daughter, Melissa Sue Andersen, both of Edison, New Jersey, sisters, Carol Kranz, DaLee Hansen, both of Rigby, Rhonda (David) Simons, of Spanish Fork, UT, Judy (Nathan) Bridges, of Rigby, Debbie Johnson, of Centennial, CO, brothers, Richard (Linda) Andersen, Dennis (Angie) Andersen, Darius (Noreen) Andersen, and Gaylen Andersen, all of Rigby. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Pamela Garland, and three brothers, Larry Andersen, Marlen Andersen and Kyle Andersen. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at the Rigby 3rd Ward L.D.S. Chapel, 364 N. 4100 E., Rigby. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Monday, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., both at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
