Kimber Mae Wray passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving parents on May 3, 2019 at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. Kimber was born March 12, 2019 to Chase and McKenzi Wray. During her brief, beautiful life, she touched many lives of those around her. She was in the hospital for the entirety of her life but was able to change the lives of those who were able to care for her. Kimber had the opportunity to meet many family members and close family friends. Her parents and her brothers completely adore her. She was loved deeply by her family, friends, and caregivers. She will not be forgotten, and her legacy will live on as she was able to donate her heart valves to those in need. Kimber is survived by her parents and her brothers, Porter and Tanner, of Hamer, ID; her grandparents Vince and Laurie Wray of Shelley, ID and Nyle and Caryn Raymond of Menan, ID; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family. Kimber is preceded in death by her grandmother, Jill Wray, her cousin, Hope Wray, as well as great-great grandparents, including her great-great grandmother, Cordelle Mae Chapman, whom she was named after. A viewing will be held Friday May 10, 2019 from 6:00-7:30 PM at Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby, ID. A graveside service will be held with family and close friends on Saturday May 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery in Shelley, ID. The family would like to give a special thank you to the NICU staff of EIRMC and the NICU staff of Primary Children’s Hospital. Because of these special, amazing caregivers, Kimber was able to live the beautiful life she did.
