Kitty Barnes

Kitty Barnes, 63, of Rigby, Idaho passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at her home. Kitty was born August 13, 1957 in Rexburg, Idaho, the daughter of James Lawrence Rawls and Vonda Pelton Rawls.  She grew up in Rigby and attended schools there.

She married Rex E Tinker in Lewisville, Idaho. They were later divorced. She married Ray Barnes in Idaho Falls, Idaho on November 14, 1980. They divorced in 2004. She has lived in Rigby, ID, Roberts, ID, Menan, ID, and Idaho Falls, Idaho. Her hobbies are camping, fishing, and riding her four-wheeler with grandkids and family.  She loved to sit by the fire and BS with everyone and to cook hotdogs.

Kitty is survived by her children; Tim (ShoShonei) Tinker of Rigby, Idaho, Shon (Teena) Barnes of Rigby, Idaho, Shane (April) Barnes of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Jeramie Barnes of Ucon, Idaho and DeEtte Scott of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Sisters, Beulah Hays, and LaRayne (Steve) Darby. Nineteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Kitty was preceded by her parents, a son, Mick, three grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Kennedy.
A viewing will be held for Kitty, Monday, May 17, 2021 at Eckersell Funeral Home (101 West Main Street, Rigby, ID) from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
