Ladean Ellis Bowles

LaDean Ellis Bowles, 83, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday August 9, 2022.

She was born on October 11, 1938 in Rigby Idaho to her parents Leonard Edward Ellis and Verla Martha Owen Ellis.  LaDean married her sweetheart, Aldon Robert Bowles, on December 7, 1956 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they have five daughters where LaDean was able to be a homemaker for her family, something she loved. LaDean graduated Rigby High school and also received an accounting degree from VO Tech. During her working years, LaDean worked for Ultimate Direction and Bank of Eastern Idaho. During her lifetime, she lived in Rigby ID, Leadore ID, Dubois ID, Salmon ID, Kirby WY, Murtaugh ID, and St. Anthony ID.

LaDean loved to craft. She was often found sewing, crocheting, reading, cooking, and quilting, and loved to teach and share these talents with her family.

LaDean is survived by her husband, Aldon, her daughters Nileen (Paul) Baker of Teton ID, Eileen (Lee) Warren of Rim Rock AZ, Julie (Gene) Clements of Wilford ID, Sara (Barri) Farnes of LaBelle ID, and Bobbie (Shane) Clements of Sunnydell ID; sister Caralee Minard of Salt Lake City UT, brothers Merlin Ellis of Anchorage AK, and John (Jing) Ellis of Springhill FL. LaDean has 26 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her parents, Leonard and Verla, grandson DJ Michael Lane Farnes and sister Vivienne Arlyne Ellis.

Funeral services for LaDean will be on Monday August 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the St Anthony Stake Center, Twin Groves 1 ^st Ward (247 E 4 ^th N St Anthony ID 83445), with a viewing prior from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 pm. The family will also receive friends for viewing on Sunday evening, August 14, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the St Anthony Stake Center. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Riverview Cemetery.
