Larry Franklin Free, 51, of Lorenzo, died Sunday, September 14, 2008, as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born December 7, 1956, in Rexburg, to James Lawrence Free and Margaret Ellen Love Free. He attended Rigby High School then continued his education at Utah State University.
He worked for Quality Insulation, Valley Wide Co-op at the fertilizer plant, and as a truck driver with the Idaho State Department of Transportation, plowing and sealing the highways and also in weed control.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family in the outdoors, camping and fishing. He lived with, and was very attentive to the needs of his elderly mother.
He is survived by his mother; Margaret Free of Lorenzo, a sister Gale Ann Johnson, of Idaho Falls, and a brother; Norman John Free, of Florence, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his father; Lawrence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 18, 2008, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening, and from 10:00 to 10:50 a.m., Thursday, both at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
