Larry Glen Hansen

Larry Glen Hansen, 80 years old, died on February, 28, 2017 in his home in Grants Pass, OR. He was born to Glen Reid Hansen and Sylvia Davies on November 20, 1936 in Rexburg, Idaho He was a man of many talents and used them in a variety of ways, at work, at home and for his church, serving two missions and weekly service in the Medford Oregon Temple. Joining the navy when he was 17 took him around the world. Later he served in the Air Force. Being an adventurous man he got his private pilot’s license. He married Jan, May 28, 1982 in Oakten, Virginia. He put many miles on his purple Harley, with his wife, across the United States and Canada. He and hard work were good friends, providing a fine example for children and grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by one son, a sister and his parents. Surviving are his wife, Jan, six children, 21 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews and one aunt. Funeral services will be held Monday March 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with the family greeting friends at 12:30 p.m. at Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho A private interment will be held the morning of the service at Sutton Cemetery, in Archer, Idaho.
