Larry R Miller, age 62, of St. Anthony, died in Idaho Falls, Idaho January 27, 2007 of injuries received from a snowmobile accident.
Larry was born September 2, 1944 in Rexburg, Idaho the son of Ronald B Miller and Elda Edna Dayton Miller. He attended schools in St. Anthony and graduated from South Fremont High School where he was involved in High School rodeo and FFA. Larry married Emma Claudette Neilson on August 6, 1966 in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. He farmed and ranched in the Monteview and St. Anthony areas. He was a member of the Idaho Cattlemans Association and the Upper Valley Cutter Racing Association. Larry enjoyed rodeos, team roping, hunting, cutter racing, his grandchildren, and riding his horse to the highest mountains and seeing the scenery (in his words: “Being on top of the World”).
Larry is survived by his wife Claudette Miller of St. Anthony, two daughters Laree (Steve) Davis of Chester, Jodi (Todd) Allen of Blackfoot, two sons, Shawn Miller of New York, New York, Dan J. (Becky) Miller of Archer, mother Elda Miller of St. Anthony, sister Trena (Dwight) Porter of South Jordan, Utah, three brothers, Rex (Helen) Miller, Dayton Miller, and Russ (Jill) Miller all of St. Anthony and seven grandchildren.
Larry is preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2007, at the Wilford L.D.S. Chapel. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. and prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:45 a.m. both at the Church. Interment will be at the Wilford Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
