Larrydot Johnson Green

LarryDot Johnson Green, age 90, of Rigby, died Thursday, December 1, 2005 at home with her family. She was under the care of Hospice Alliance of Rexburg. LarryDot was born August 4, 1915 at Rigby a daughter of Fountain Syre Johnson and Bertha Jane Howe Johnson. She attended Rigby schools graduating from Rigby High School. She married Cecil Albert Green, January 8, 1936 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served as first counselor in the Rigby Stake M.I.A., as a counselor in Menan Ward Primary Presidency, in the Rigby fifth ward Relief Society Presidency and was a teacher in the M.I.A. and Primary. She served on the Menan P.T.A. as a pink lady in the Idaho Falls LDS Hospital, as Chairman of the Jefferson County Cancer Society, and as a volunteer in the Rigby Museum. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and Rigby Study Club. She enjoyed her family, decorating her home and yard, crocheting, cross word puzzles and spending time at the family cabin in Island Park. She is survived by three daughters; Carolee Green of Rigby, Ronda Jean (Blair) Chase of Rigby, ElRae (Art) Goody of Rigby and son Randy Cecil (Ruth Ann) Green of Rigby. 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be held Monday December 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rigby Ninth Ward LDS Chapel, 258 West 1st North with Bishop Brad Anderson officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family would appreciate contributions to either the Primary Children Hospital or Hospice Alliance in Rexburg
