Larue Robinson Clark

March 5, 1931 — August 29, 2011

LaRue Robinson Clark, 80, of Ucon, died Monday, August 29, 2011, at her home. She was born March 5, 1931, in Ucon to Oliver LeRoy Robinson and Julia Lott Robinson. She was raised on the family homestead in Ucon and attended Ucon Schools. She continued her education in Arizona at Mesa Community College. On September 6, 1949, she married Terrell Leon Clark in Ucon; their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple at a later date. To this union, they added 6 children. LaRue is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she enjoyed visiting family, keeping up with the grandchildren, quilting, water skiing, outdoor activities, writing and literature, history and genealogy. LaRue had a zest for life. She was happiest surrounded by those she loved, be it family or friend. She is survived by her children, Marina LaRue Robertson, of Pocatello, Karen Ruth (Charles) Booram, of Phoenix, Arizona, Coleen Marie Mullinix, of Filer, Idaho, son, Myron Leon (Kathy) Clark, of West Yellowstone, Montana, sister Marie (Don) Glen, of Jerome, Idaho, brother, Joseph Sidwell (Carly) Robinson, of Twin Falls, ID, 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Ronald Lee Clark, daughter, Jana Camille Lanterman, sisters, Virginia Reay, Donna Woodland brothers, Eli Merrill Robinson, Lee Oliver Robinson, and Aaron Lott Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September, 2, 2011, at Ucon Stake Center, with Bishop John Holst, conducting. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Fir Ridge Cemetery in West Yellowstone, Montana at 4:00 p.m.
