Laurel Dale Fiebig

July 31, 1926 — October 8, 2020

On October 8, 2020, Jesus Christ called our mother home.  Laurel was born in Southgate, California to Gale Timus and Edna May Lehman Titmus.  Growing up in California with her sister Nancy she met and married her first husband John Tuck who was a sailor in the US Navy.  To this 19 year union their children Linda, Gayle and Steve were born.  They lived throughout California, Guam, Oklahoma and Washington State while John served in the US Navy.  He preceded her in death

In July 1967, Laurel married another sailor, Ken Fiebig.  To this union Ken’s children, Gary and Brenda were brought into the family.  Laurel and Ken lived throughout California and Arizona; finally settling down in Idaho after 2 missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Laurel had a talent for music and drawing.  Her passion for genealogy stories and telling our life history through photography left behind a legacy.

Laurel is survived by her children Linda Mae (Allen) Hahn, Gayle Diane (Kevin) Anderson, Brenda (Paul) Lawson and John Steven (Susan) Tuck.  She has 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Ken, parents, her step-son
Gary and his wife Gail, sister Nancy and grandson Brian.

A graveside service will be held at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery with Pastor Dave Schilling Officiating.  Services are under the care of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby, Idaho.

We express our gratitude to Fairwinds Assisted Living and Brio Health Care Services.
