Laurie Jean Thieman

Laurie Jean Thieman, age 62, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away peacefully at her home Friday, April 26, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

Laurie was born July 10, 1961, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, a daughter to George Eugene and Della LaRue Bagshaw Musgrave. She attended Idaho Falls schools graduating from Skyline High School in 1979.

Laurie made many friends during her 15 years at Walmart and she cherished working with them all.  Laurie was a dedicated worker.

She enjoyed snowmobiles and barbeques, loved to watch Perry Mason and Classic Concentration and enjoyed game shows. She never missed an episode of Masked Singer. She was very kind hearted and loved people. Her hobbies consisted of reading, cross stitch, crocheting, bowling, needle point.  She enjoyed watching after her nieces and nephews. She also loved playing card games with her grandson’s. Rummy was a favorite of theirs to play, while Jig Saw Puzzles also kept her busy.

Laurie is survived by her mother D. Larue Bate of Idaho Falls, daughters Sarah Dawn Thieman (Dale) Worrall of Rigby, and Brook June Thieman of Idaho Falls. Sisters Jennifer Lynn (Kevin) Hungate of Idaho Falls, and Cindy Lou Bybee of Ohio, Brother Tom (Suzette) Musgrave of Idaho Falls. Grandsons Jaden, Grasen, Tyler, Granddaughter Hailey Jo. Nieces Aubree, Alyssa, Crystal, and Rhennie. Nephew’s Tyson, Kegin, and Jacob. Great Nieces Preslie, Brynlee, Blaiklynn, Averi, and Spencer, and Great Nephews Kash, Kyeson, and Eero.

She was preceded in death by her father George Eugene Musgrave, Sister Becky Jo Bate, Grandparents, and Aunts and Uncles.
