Laverne Eddins

Lois Laverne Eddins, age 83, passed away at her home in Rigby, Monday, October 26, 2015 . Laverne was born September 6, 1932, in Roberts, Idaho a daughter to Walter Cope and Sylvia Chapple Cope. She attended Roberts schools graduating from Roberts High School. She married Duane Eddins, February 1, 1952 in LaBelle, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple March 16, 1979. She worked for Artco in Rexburg until her retirement. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in scouting, relief society and in the primary. She loved gardening, being with family and having grandchildren over. She is survived by her daughter, Lea Ann (Sam) Stosich of Ririe, three sons: Mike Eddins of Rigby, Walter Eddins of Rexburg and Robert (Becky) Eddins of Rigby, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the LaBelle 2nd Ward LDS Chapel 4223 East 528 North, Rigby. The family will visit with friends at the LaBelle Church from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
