Leah Pearl Siepert, 79, of Rexburg, died at her home, Friday, January 5, 2007. Leah was born January 6, 1927, at Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ede Uriah Andersen and Elizabeth Elzada Campbell Andersen. She attended schools in Teton Basin. She worked as a waitress in Idaho Falls, Rexburg, St. Anthony, Jackson, Wyoming and Island Park. She married Keith Jacob Siepert who was widowed with five children, January 6, 1959 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission for the church in The Northern States Mission serving in the Chicago, Illinois area from 1950 to 1951. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her children: Trudy Morris of Sugar City, Jacob (Jana) Siepert of Rexburg, Sally (Steve) Hinckley of Lewisville, Nellie (Ben) Schiess of Logan, Utah, Joseph (Janet) Siepert of Rexburg, Jenny (Jeff) Pedersen of South Jordan, Utah, one sister Doris Stewart of Victor, 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Keith, one brother, one sister, one son James and one grandson, Jordan Siepert. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Ward Chapel, 700 Park Street, Rexburg. The family will visit with friends at the Evergreen Ward Chapel on Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
