Leonard E. Foster, age 93 of Rigby, Idaho, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his home. Leonard was born May 14, 1924 in Whitewater, Colorado to J.B. Foster and Pearl Schnider Foster. He served in the US Navy, worked as a Uranium Miner, and worked in construction. Leonard married Martha Mary Butschle on February 14, 1950 in Delta Colorado. They were blessed with 2 daughters and 2 sons. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Leonard absolutely loved fishing, fishing and more fishing! He is survived by his wife, Martha Foster, of Rigby, Idaho, daughters, Linda (Joseph) Ashworth, of Waynesboro, Georgia, Marilyn (Kim) Hunting, of Menan, Idaho; sons, Charles Steven (Renee’) of Ruth, Nevada, Michael Francis Foster, of Rigby, Idaho; sister, Bertha Bennett, of Grand Junction, Colorado; brother, Harold Foster, of Cortez, Colorado; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, 1 sister and 7 brothers.
