Linda Clegg, 61 of Ammon, formerly of Rigby, died Thursday, September 5, 2013; she was in the care of DeeOn Waters, the staff and all of her sisters at New Beginnings in Ammon. She was also under the care of Hearts For Hospice.
She was born October 17, 1951 in Rigby to William Everett Clegg and Gail Southwick Clegg. She was raised in Rigby and attended The Joshua Smith Foundation in Idaho Falls. She worked at Development Workshop in Idaho Falls, and was actively engaged with Special Olympics.
Linda was a very kindhearted, sweet and loving lady; she enjoyed riding horses, bowling, doing latch hook and drinking Coca-Cola.
Linda is survived by her sister, Donna (Steve) Nichols, of Oregon City, Oregon, and her brother, Francis Clegg, of Reno, Nevada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin brother, Lynn Clegg, and a sister, Betty.
A graveside services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013, at the Milo Cemetery. A visitation will be held at 3 p.m., prior to services, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby, for all of her special needs friends.
